My name is Rae Van Til

I'm a metalsmith based in Chicago. I make eclectic charms, rings and more using the lost wax casting method. Everything is hand carved in wax, set into a plaster mold which is then used to cast the carvings in metal.

When I'm not toiling away in my studio (aka home office) I am generally knitting sweaters, watching trashy reality TV or doomscrolling on social media.
